Installation research Sarah Greaves

I looked at this installation because I loved what the artist did using a sewing technique to create unique scenes. This technique could be used quite easilly with drawing so I thought it would be worth looking at.
I love the piece above because its  just so unique. You'd think its impossible to sew something into a door and if i thought about it i dont think i would have imagined it to look good. I think it works really well though.

above is another part of the installation where the artist has drilled holes into the sink then threaded blue wool through to represent water. I think this has a great effect and was a really clever Idea.

Installation research Amy Dover

Amy mentioned that she had done a few of the ideas that I had, in one of her past installations. I decided to have a look at it to see what it looked like. Below are some images of the installation.
The Image above is the whole installation I love how pretty and fragile it looks. I think my favourite overall thing about it is the paper cuttings that are not scattered around I think It brings the whole thing tohether in a really nice way.
the image above is a close up of a drawing.i love the way it is presented hanging at a perculiar angle. I also like the cotton web behind the image this is similar to the idea that i thought of and i think it works really well.
